Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 23

Need help! I’m not sure what I am doing wrong here, with the comment step on the background color. I spent a good 30 mins trying to figure this out.

Is my code not right? If not, what should I change to fix this?

Hope to hear back from someone soon, thanks!

  **Your code so far**

Link to the challenge:

You did comment out the background color, but then you also have an active background color, which sort of defeats the purpose of commenting it out :slight_smile: . There should only be one background-color property and it should be commented out.

So, I just want to make sure I’m understanding you. The code should be:

body {
background-color: ;
/* background-color: burlywood; */
}

Is this right?

Not quite. You don’t need to add an extra background-color property at all. There should only be one in the rule set and it should be commented out.

Ah, I see. I think I figured it out, thanks for taking the time to help me. I appreciate it.
