I’ve tried everything I know. Can someone please help me understand what to do next? it keeps telling me my #menu selector should have a burlywood background. What is the #menu exactly?

HI @ele !

Welcome to the forum!

This is the menu div

right now you are targeting all div elements on the page with this code here

but the lesson wants you to set the #menu selector

I would suggest resetting the lesson because this is the correct starting code but you changed things you weren’t supposed to

#menu {
  width: 300px;
}

make sure to only add the background color
you should not change anything else

then the test will pass

It finally passed! Thank you so much
