its tell meing to drop the id and add the class i made in css and then set the value to “menu” and ive done so but still have not passed what looks wrong here?

Hi! You have to replace id with a class, “menu” is a value. A dot is not needed here
Example:
<p class="text">...</p>

i tried that. that still doesnt work either

the issue in your code is .menu=“menu”.
Its supposed to be class=“menu”
