Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 28

I believe my code is correct, but in my code every time I go // as it tells me to do, it comments the rest of the code out, preventing me from finishing the step.
this is where the problem is: background-image {
url(https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/css-cafe/beans.jpg)
}

Your code so far:

<!-- file: index.html -->
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8" />
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
    <title>Cafe Menu</title>
    <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
  </head>
  <body>
    <div class="menu">
      <main>
        <h1>CAMPER CAFE</h1>
        <p>Est. 2020</p>
        <section>
          <h2>Coffee</h2>
        </section>
      </main>
    </div>
  </body>
</html>
/* file: styles.css */

/* User Editable Region */

background-image {
  url(https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/css-cafe/beans.jpg)
}

/* User Editable Region */

h1, h2, p {
  text-align: center;
}

.menu {
  width: 80%;
  background-color: burlywood;
  margin-left: auto;
  margin-right: auto;
}

Hi there and welcome to our community!

This is not valid CSS code.
The starting code for this step is:

body {
  /*
  background-color: burlywood;
  */
}

I would reset the lesson and try this step again.
You should be removing the comment tags (/* and */) and the background-color property within the tags. You shouldn’t remove the body selector. Inside the body selector just add the background-image property with the specified url.
