Challenge: Learn Basic CSS by Building a Cafe Menu - Step 34

Link to the challenge:

You should add an attribute named ‘class’ with a value of ‘price’ to your p element.

Add a class named price to your p element that has 3.00 as its text.
that’s what it asked me this is what ive got

3.00

and its still wrong

What that means is find the p element which has ‘3.00’ as its text and then add a class attribute with the value ‘price’.

oh my code isn’t showing but im confused still

There is one p element like this:

<p>3.00</p>

Add a ‘class’ attribute with the value ‘price’. That’s it.

yes I tried that and it didn’t work

Show me your code for that p element.

how to I post it because I tried that above and its only showing the 3.00

When you hit ‘reply’ look for the code button (highlighted in pic below). Click it and post your code for the p element where it tells you.

oh ok ive added a ss anyway<p price="3.00">3.00</p>

Your p element does not have a ‘class’ attribute with the value ‘price’. It has a ‘price’ attribute with the value ‘3.00’.

so it shouldn’t be inside the p element

Change the word ‘price’ to ‘class’. Then change the value ‘3.00’ to ‘price’.
