you have a few errors check how to correctly structure your css location of classes and how to use it right example where to put closing body tag and right way to use " heres some hints to fix it

hi there!
are you sure, did you added the second selector .dessert in the right place?

yes i added the second selector

alright! you added the selector .dessert. but where you added it. is that the right place?

look at it .flavor {
text-align: left;
width: 75%; .dessert {text-align: left; width: 75%;}
}

You need to look at your other css selector for example:

/* file: styles.css */
body {
  background-image: url(https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/css-cafe/beans.jpg);
}

h1, h2, p {
  text-align: center;
}

.menu {
  width: 80%;
  background-color: burlywood;
  margin-left: auto;
  margin-right: auto;
}

.item p {
  display: inline-block;
}

/* User Editable Region */

.flavor  {
  text-align: left;
  width: 75%; .dessert {text-align: left; width: 75%;}
}

/* User Editable Region */

.price {
  text-align: right;
  width: 25%
}

Can you see a selector within the any other selector, like that you added .dessert selector within .flavor selector.?

.flavor {
text-align: left;
width: 75%; .dessert {text-align: left; width: 75%;}
}

Instructions is asking you:
The CSS rule for the flavor class already sets the properties you want. Add the dessert class as an additional selector for this CSS rule.
