I dont know where im going wrong with the div elements

So, there are three issues right now.

  1. You have the container class on the two new divs that you added, but the directions do not say anything about giving the divs you created the container class. It only says to give them the marker class.

  2. The divs you created do not have closing tags.

  3. The directions do not say for you to give the first div the marker class

i understand that ,i only did that because nothing else i tried worked. im gonna fix it back to the way i originally had it and see what happens
