You have added </> at the end of the code line. It shouldn’t be there empty. It should be the closing div tag.

Did i not create a new div properly?

I just removed </> yet the code didn’t pass

Yes, it ok, but instead of that empty tag that you have deleted add the closing </div>tag.
A div element has the both tags:

<div></div>
