Learn CSS Transforms by Building a Penguin - Step 16

My code doesn’t seem to pass and it says I have to give the .left-mountain the transform property on CSS

Your code so far

<!-- file: index.html -->
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">

  <head>
    <meta charset="UTF-8" />
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="./styles.css" />
    <title>Penguin</title>
    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
  </head>

  <body>
    <div class="left-mountain"></div>
    <div class="penguin"></div>
    <div class="ground"></div>
  </body>
</html>
/* file: styles.css */
body {
  background: linear-gradient(45deg, rgb(118, 201, 255), rgb(247, 255, 222));
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
  width: 100%;
  height: 100vh;
  overflow: hidden;
}

/* User Editable Region */

.left-mountain {
  transform: translate(0deg, 44deg);
  width: 300px;
  height: 300px;
  background: linear-gradient(rgb(203, 241, 228), rgb(80, 183, 255));
  position: absolute;

}

/* User Editable Region */

.penguin {
  width: 300px;
  height: 300px;
  margin: auto;
  margin-top: 75px;
}

.ground {
  width: 100vw;
  height: 400px;
  background: linear-gradient(90deg, rgb(88, 175, 236), rgb(182, 255, 255));
  z-index: 3;

The directions dont say to use translate

I did take it off but still doesn’t work

Hello!

I will give you a hint what should go where the translate was located. Important parts, and often keys to our coding, are highlighted in the instructions for us.

from instructions:
To make the mountain look more like a mountain, you can use the skew transform function, which takes two arguments.

There is a part highlighted that I believe could help you pass, if you include it in your code.
