Challenge: Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 105

Though I cannot see all of your code, I am going to suggest you may wish to check and see if in the second repeating-linear-gradient, the 90deg was included in the code. It is not to be there.

If this is not the issue, please post the complete code using three ``` backticks before and after the complete code? In this way the community can see the code and offer focused guidance.

Happy coding!

here is the code

‘’‘background: repeating-linear-gradient(
var(–building-color2),
var(–building-color2) 5%,
transparent 5%,
transparent 10%
)
repeating-linear-gradient (
90deg,
var(–building-color2) 0%,
var(–building-color2) 12%,
var(–window-color2) 12%,
var(–window-color2) 44%
) ‘’’

Hello!
Thank you. I meant the total code to this point because sometimes the issue is outside the current work area.
But from what I see here:
It looks like the 90deg is in the second code instead of in the first code. I suggest trying to move that to the first one above it.
Then see if the code will pass for you.

here is the solution. thanks for reaching me

the mistake was not put in comma(,) after the first repeating-linear-gradient properties.

I’m having the same issue except i have the comma, i need help

Hello!

Could you post all of your code and make a new post with your question?

It is best to use the Help that appears after three failed attempts, and allows for all code to be preformatted and submitted with the question.

Happy coding!
