Learn CSS Variables by Building a City Skyline - Step 77

You need 4 comma separated color values, each with their own percentage (the first can be 0% or no percentage)

Example

repeating-linear-gradient(
  90deg,
 color1,
 color1 10%,
 color2 20%,
 color2 35%
)

i tried this too:

.fb1c {

width: 100%;

height: 80%;

background: repeating-linear-gradient(

90deg,

var(-–building-color4),

var(-–building-color4) 10%,

transparent 10%,

transparent 15%

)

}

and it didnt work.

Your hyphens are wrong for the variables, it should be two --
