it seems that i cant solve this problem so far in step 40, i have tried what the instructions told me, but it seems it keeps saying " You should remove the targetId variable."

I see the targetId variable is still in your code.
The instructions asked you to remove that line.

After that, you just need to restore the back ticks to your code.
