Tell us what’s happening:I get the error message: Sorry, your code does not pass. Try again.
You should replace the targetId reference in your template literal with entryDropdown.value. What should I do?
Your code so far: ‘’’
function addEntry() {
const targetInputContainer = document.querySelector(#${entryDropdown.value});
}
‘’’

Hello, you removed code and all you had to do is replace targetId with the given variable and property, so you are close just put back what was there on the out side of the template literal.
I just tried that. Problem remains. My code:
‘’’
function addEntry() {
const entryDropdown.value = ‘#’ + entryDropdown.value;
const targetInputContainer = document.querySelector(#${entryDropdown.value} .input-container);
}
‘’’
sorry that was a copy and paste malfunction on my end. Problem remains.
‘’’
function addEntry() {
const entryDropdown.value = ‘#’ + entryDropdown.value;
const targetInputContainer = document.querySelector(#${entryDropdown.value} .input-container);
}
