Tell us what’s happening:

I don’t know what I’m supposed to do because I have tried everthing and it does not work. This is the erorr message.

You should have a label element inside your template literal.

Your code so far

const entryNumber = targetInputContainer.querySelectorAll('input[type="text"]').length;
  const HTMLString = `<label> Entry ${entryNumber} Name </label>`; //(this is the line where the issue is.)

WARNING

The challenge seed code and/or your solution exceeded the maximum length we can port over from the challenge.

You will need to take an additional step here so the code you wrote presents in an easy to read format.

Please copy/paste all the editor code showing in the challenge from where you just linked.

Replace these two sentences with your copied code.
Please leave the ``` line above and the ``` line below,
because they allow your code to properly format in the post.

Learn Form Validation by Building a Calorie Counter - Step 44

It looks like issues with the tests

remove the spaces here

and here

created an issue for it here

I tried your solution but it seems to have no effect on the code. I even copied you solution, but that didn’t seem to have an effect on it either.

I just tried it on my end and able to pass.

Please post your new code, so we can test it here

Could you show me exactly what you typed?

const entryNumber = targetInputContainer.querySelectorAll('input[type="text"]').length;
  const HTMLString = `<label>Entry ${entryNumber} Name</label>`;

This is what I have.

Are you typing this entire thing here?

const entryNumber = targetInputContainer.querySelectorAll('input[type="text"]').length;
  const HTMLString = `<label>Entry ${entryNumber} Name</label>`;

if so that is the issue.

You should only be adding the label element

Because this is the starting code here

Try it with just the label element

Thanky you I got it.
