Learn Form Validation by Building a Calorie Counter - Step 47

Tell us what’s happening:

I am getting an error that says "Sorry, your code does not pass. You’re getting there.

You should not modify your existing elements."

Judging by the code, I don’t see where I modified existing elements

Your code so far

function addEntry() {
  const targetInputContainer = document.querySelector(`#${entryDropdown.value} .input-container`);
  const entryNumber = targetInputContainer.querySelectorAll('input[type="text"]').length;
  const HTMLString = `
  <label for="${entryDropdown.value}-${entryNumber}-name">Entry ${entryNumber} Name</label>
  <input type="text" id="${entryDropdown.value}-${entryNumber}-name" placeholder="Name"/>
  <label for="${entryDropdown.value}-${entryNumber}-calories">Entry ${entryNumber} Calories</label>`;
}

I get the same error but can’t see where any modifications where made to the existing code.

When I reset the lesson and only copy the solution line then it passes for me.
So I would suggest doing the same.

I appreciate your solution
