Tell us what’s happening:

I don’t get an error in the console other than the hint “If the ternary is false, you should return the value of sorted at the middle index. Use Math.ceil() to round the middle value up.” which it seems like my code should accomplish. What am I doing incorrectly?

I think the problem is with your average calculation. Try removing the / 2 in your even block
