Task is to add number capture groups with the second one being optional.What is wrong?

Challenge Information:

Learn Functional Programming by Building a Spreadsheet - Step 37

Per the instructions:

Add a capture group after your letter capture group. Your new capture group…

How many capture groups do you have?

Still not working:

const rangeRegex = /([A-J][1-9])/;

You have not added a capture group for the numbers. Do you understand how to make a capture group?

Still not working:
const rangeRegex = /([A-J]):([1-9][0-9]?)/;

This is good. Just read the instructions again carefully and make sure you’ve done exactly what’s asked and nothing more.

You might need to reset the step back to the starting code.

hi @Fabulousman

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge. How to Help Someone with Their Code Using the Socratic Method

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.
