You can see the error in the terminal, “apply options and merge options cannot be used together”, as i tried the " git rebase --interactive --root" command as suggested.
I have tried entering the command --interactive to get me in the nano, but i could never access it. I tried resetting it, also tried the “rm” method.

Is there anything in the hints? There’s a few steps where you have to do something after resetting mentioned in the hints.
