So in this part of training i don’t understand the corretc word to put in the blanked space. It occurs because i heard the sound in the movie “Thanks for show me around the place, Maria”. In the resolutino "Thanks, Maria, for ‘show’ me around the ‘place’.

Place is correct but the word show why is incorrect? I don’t understand it very well. Someone could help me please.

Listen to the audio again. Show is the correct root verb, but the dialogue uses a specific conjugation of the word.
