So I have an issue with putting the anchor element to link to the cat photos ?

Restart step.

The instruction: " Add the anchor text link to cat pictures to the anchor element. This will become the link’s text."

Just add the given text between the opening <a href="url"> and closing </a> tags:

<a href="url">Text</a> ....this is guidance
