Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:
hey! I tried about 20 versions of this code and i really don’t get it. I checked other topics about this step but none of those answers helped me unfortunately.

Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
      <p>Click here to view more cat photos <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com"</a></p>
      <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">link to cat pictures</a>
      <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
    </main>
  </body>
</html>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Link to the challenge:

your code has this example in it of a properly formed anchor element.

My suggestion is to restart this step as you have deleted some required text then focus on adding code (do not delete anything at all).

The new code you add should be very similar to the above anchor element but the difference will be the link text. Instead of “link to cat pictures” in the middle, you will have “cat photos” there.
