Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:
In the text of your p element, turn the words cat photos into a link to https://freecatphotoapp.com by adding opening and closing anchor (a ) tags around these words. ← Idk how to do that :sob: I’ve been stuck since yesterday. I’m sorry, I’m just new :sweat_smile:

Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
<a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com"><p>link to cat pictures</p></a> <p>link to cat pictures</p></a>
<a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">link to cat pictures</a>
      <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
    </main>
  </body>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Link to the challenge:

Start by clicking the restart step button. This will return the code back to the start as you deleted some required elements.

Then notice that:

In the code now you have a paragraph element with plain text words. In the preview pane, you can see the words look like this

Click here to view more cat photos.

What they are asking you to do is change these words as follows:

Click here to view more cat photos.

Such that the last two words become clickable.

You do this using an anchor tag (review anchor tags in step 10 and 11).

Make sure that you do not delete anything this time. Just add code.

Hope this helps
