the instructions were that I have to In the text of my p element, I should turn the words cat photos into a link to https://freecatphotoapp.com by adding opening and closing anchor (a ) tags around these words. I keep getting it wrong

You need to wrap cat photos inside the anchor tag. Also you forgot to put a > in opening a tag.

okay i fixed the > in the opening tag but im still getting it wrong. should cat photos be included in the text?

Yeah put cat photos inside the anchor tag. This will turn the words into a clickable link. You can notice this in the preview.

in the preview right above the cats picture it says " see more cat photos in our gallery"

may you show your current code along with the changes that you made?
Use three backticks(```) before and after the code to format it.

I’m so sorry to frustrate you like this. They"ve removed the option for me to send you my current code and I cant seem to copy and paste it. I also dont know what backticks are, i legit just started learning how to code this morning :sob:

Don’t worry. Backtick is the key below the esc key.
