the anchor element should be within the p element with the words cat photos as the links text.

You should not have replaced the opening p element here. You need to remove car photos here and change it back to

Then you are putting the anchor tag around the text “cat photos” in the sentence that the challenge gives you. Meaning the opening anchor tag comes right before the word cat and the closing tag comes after the word photos
