Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:

I did all the steps I thought but it’s not accepting the code. It says after the a element is anchored that the p element should only read something specific and I didn’t have the rest of it hidden maybe. Describe your issue in detail here.

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

Hi there,
You should try to nest the a element in the p element.
In the current version of your code, instead of being nested, you have 2 seperated a and p elements.
I hope that helped!

Hey there, the question is asking you to surround the anchor tag < a ></ a > with the words “cat photos”. Anchor tags always have a href attribute on the first opening tag. After the href add in the link. Here are some external sources HTML a tag. I hope this helps! If there are any questions don’t hesitate to ask!

This is the format you should be using

< a href=" link">text</ a>
