Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:

I have followed all the instructions given correctly but the editor is showing the message “After nesting the anchor (a) element, the only p element content visible in the browser should be See more cat photos in our gallery. Double check the text, spacing, or punctuation of both the p and nested anchor element.” even though I have checked the spelling multiple time, there is no issue with spelling

Your code so far

  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->

Hi there and welcome to our community!

Your p element currently reads as:

See more cat photos in our gallery. cat photos

This is because you have duplicated the text ‘cat photos’ instead of enclosing the existing text within anchor tags.

EXAMPLE:

<!-- text without link -->
<p>Please visit my website for awesome content</p>

<!-- 'my website' turned into a link -->
<p>Please visit <a href="example.com">my website</a> for awesome content</p>

Hello and Welcome to the forum!

Here is a great article that I have found very useful throughout the course on how to turn text and images into links.

Wishing you good progress on your coding journey! :slightly_smiling_face:
