Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 13

I’m struggling with lesson 1, step 13. This is what it’s asking: “Add a target attribute with the value _blank to the anchor (a ) element’s opening tag, so that the link opens in a new tab.” Not sure where to place it and am I actually writing out “_blank.” I’m very new to this and have noticed several other people ask about this step but I still do not understand their answers. Thanks

Howdy tbrink and welcome to the freeCodeCamp forum,
target = "_blank" is an attribute for anchor elements. The term “element” refers to the opening and closing tags as well as the content nested inside these tags. You can place this attribute you’re asking about anywhere within the opening anchor tag. Just be sure to keep it separate from all its neighbor attributes. All html attributes should be spaced from each other.
