Hello, it’s saying that my code should have an opening tag but when I place a space after the anchor it says that I should only have one opening anchor. What am I doing wrong and how can I correct it?

  **Your code so far**
<html>
<body>
  <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
  <main>
    <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
    <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
    <p>Click here to view more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a>.</p>
   <a=href="https://freecatphotoapp.com" </a> <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">
  </main>
</body>
</html>

Link to the challenge:

This anchor tag has two problems

  1. You have an extra =

  2. You have no closing >

You close the anchor element before the image element, so you don’t have the image inside of the anchor.

ok. I’ve changed my code to this

<a = href "https://freecatphotoapp.com"</a>  <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

but it’s says that I should only have one opening anchor tag and that the anchor doesn’t link to the website.

  1. Your = isn’t in a valid place. Attributes have the syntax attribute=value.

  2. You still have not closed your opening tag with a >

  3. You still have the img element outside of your anchor element. It should be between the opening and closing tags.
