It has been challenging to move on from this step. The error message is “ Your anchor (a ) element should have an opening tag. Opening tags have this syntax: <elementName> .” and I do not get what it needs.

The instructions are asking you to turn the image into a clickable link using <a>. Similar to how you created a text link in the line right before the <img>.
