Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 15

I’m just new and confused as to what I’m doing wrong. The step is to attach the link (and surround the image in anchor tags). I’m really just not sure where to go here, and the program’s advice is not helpful.

Click on Restart Step.
This will fix everything so that you only have the img line to work with.
(your code right now shows you touched the previous line above the img which you don’t need to do for this step so once you restart, the code will return to normal)

At this point you can use this code with a minor tweak:

  • fix your closing tag as it should be </a>
  • add a > just infront of the <img
    (to its left)

And that’s it. Copy this fixed code into place (deleting the given img line of code in the process) and you should be good.

Some things to notice:
All tags begin and end with angled brackets < and >
closing tags begin with </ and end with >
