Describe your issue in detail here.

i honestly dont know what Im doing wrong. Have been stuck here for hours. Im completely new to coding, and all of this. I could swear I did it right but nope. Any tips/thoughts?

Step 15

In previous steps you used an anchor element to turn text into a link. Other types of content can also be turned into a link by wrapping it in anchor tags.

Turn the image into a link by surrounding it with necessary element tags. Use https://freecatphotoapp.com as the anchor’s href attribute value.

Your code so far

<html>
  <body>
    <main>
      <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
      <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
      <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
      <p>See more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a> in our gallery.</p>

Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 15

Link to the challenge:

You made a change to the img element that you shouldn’t have made. You added the a tags correctly, you just need to put the img tag back to what it was. If you need to, restart the step to get the original HTML back and then be careful to only add the a tags and do not change anything else.

I’m getting the same error for some reason. However, in yours, try combining alt with your img src brackets and then closing your alt brackets as well.

a href=“https://freecatphotoapp.com”>
img src=“https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg” alt=“A cute orange cat lying on its back.”>
/a>
I purposefully left the < off of all the first lines so you could see the code
I got it on mine as I was double checking what I was writing out. You may need to hit the reset button on the page it was some error it couldn’t; surpass on its own but now I have it. Wow you really do learn by teaching lol. Good Luck
