Hello and welcome to the community :smiley:!
The only element you should have added is a section element which should nest all your code from your h2 element until your before your closing main tag.
Ex:

<main>
<h1>I will now create a section of links</h1>
<section>
<a href="">A link in my section</a>
bla ba bal...
</main>

Reset the step to rid all the extra tags.
Now nest all this code in a section element:
