Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 17

Link to the challenge:

It’s asking you to add the second section element below the first one. You are putting them side by side.

how can i add second section ? i dont get it.

what you have done is nested a section element inside another section element

but they said to add a section element below the original one.

reset the code and add a new element below the closing tag of the section element shown in the editor

if you click after the closing tag of your section element and press enter it will open a new line to write your html.

<section>
      <section>
        <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
        <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
        <p>Click here to view more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a>.</p>
        <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com"><img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>
      </section>
      </section>

is this so?

No. You put the section inside of a section again.

Both the new opening and closing section tag must be after the entire old section element. After the old closing section tag.

Like Hbar1st said, I would reset your code and rethink it.

it’s asking you to put a new section element below the current section element including both opening <> and closing </> tags.

You’re currently still nesting (wrapping) the section elements.
