So, first I would recommend resetting the lesson. I see you added some section tags in the code, but it might be easier to reset and have the challenge fix everything first.

The instructions say " It is time to add a new section. Add a second section element below the existing section element."

What that means is right here is where you should be starting the first section element tag

 <section><section>
          <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
          <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
          <p>See more <a target="_blank" href="https://freecatphotoapp.com">cat photos</a> in our   gallery.</p>
          <a href="https://freecatphotoapp.com"><img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a></section>
        </section>
//put the first section tag here then put the closing tag after it

I added a comment of where you need to add the opening and closing section tags.
