The ‘alt’ attribute is a part of the img tag. You don’t need the left angle bracket before the ‘alt’ attribute. The same is true for the closing right angle bracket after the .jpg extension in the URL address for the 'src 'attribute:

<img src="URL" attribute="value">

'attribute is the ‘alt’,
“given tet” is the “value”.
