Tell us what’s happening:

Hello everyone!
I may have found a bug in this assignment. The thing is that the code below is counted as correct, but in fact it does not show the letters on the button.
<button type="Submit"Submit
I think that only this code variant is correct, it also counts as correct.

Hi. You have made a syntax error. You need to close your opening tag on your button element. Your type attribute value needs a closing quote as well.

I tried that code, it doesn’t pass. Do you have a screenshot or something to show the issue?

Sure, the problem is that both codes show that they’re correct. But one of them does not show letters on the button. I think there is a bug in this assignment. Because one of these codes is not correct.

Weird, for me it doesn’t pass

No, code is <button type="submit"Submit

I copied the code you gave in the first post

Thank you for helping make FCC better. Bugs can be reported as GitHub Issues. Whenever reporting a bug, please check first that there isn’t already an issue for it and provide as much detail as possible.

The first post is wrong, I just started a thread in the forum that way)
