“Identify the main section of this page by adding a <main> opening tag before the h1 element, and a </main> closing tag after the p element.”

The only thing you should add is one <main> tag and one </main> tag. If you make any other changes then you will fail this step.

I would restart the step and then only add those two tags and nothing else.

you need to put main open tag at the top and then close it after or below the close paragraph tag
