you dont have to copy paste the code that they are giving to you, you have to add a main element before the h1 element and close it after the p element

Hi there and welcome to the FCC forum.
Reset the challenge step and add main opening tag before the h1 element on a separate line, then add the main closing tag after the p element on a separate line.
Tags are written like below example:

<opening> </closing>

You can see two empty lines in the challenge editor, that are for main element opening and closing tags.
