Challenge: Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 56

Link to the challenge:

initially you are given this code:
<input id="loving" type="checkbox"> Loving

(please click on Restart Step to get it back to this point)

You are given the following instructions:

Associate the text Loving with the checkbox by only nesting the text Loving in a label element and place it to the right side of the checkbox input element.

To help you move forward I will rewrite these into steps. (that way if you follow them and get stuck, we can easily see where things went wrong)
The order of the steps & details will be different than the order of the instruction.

1- only nest[…] the text Loving in a label element … to the right side of the checkbox
2- Associate the text Loving with the checkbox
a- create a for attribute inside the new label element
b- assign the value of the input’s id to new for attribute

Recall that a label element is simply this:
<label> Something</label>
And the for attributes are always added to the opening tag of the label.

Hopefully this gives you what you needed to know for this step.

            <input id="loving" type="checkbox"> <lebel for="loving"> Loving</lebel>

I didn’t understand…I tried to do as you wrote, but this is also wrong … Or did I misunderstand? May you please just post the answer?)

you didn’t misunderstand.
But you need to be more careful with spelling.
Check the tags… as they contain “lebel” instead of “label”

I’ve been unable to complete this step for two days now…

please correct your spelling.
“label” not “lebel”
