Tell us what’s happening:
Each time I put the label in it says it shouldn’t be to the right. . . but when I take it out it says to put it to the right. I am so confused.

The order of html elements is different. This is what you get in this challenge:

The ‘label’ element with nested text within it goes right of the input element:

In order to make it looks good, add a blank space between the ‘input’ element and the opening ‘label’ tag.

Don’t change the existing code.
Restart step.
After the ‘input’ element add the following:

<label for="smth">Word</label> ....this is just guidance

Add a blank space before the opening <label> tag (between the ‘input’ element and the opening ‘label’ tag).

Uggghh. I don’t get what is wrong with this!

  • The ‘input’ element is self-closing. It doesn’t have the closing </input> tag.
  • the ‘input’ tag is not closed with the right angle tag > after id attribute
  • don’t make spaces around the word “Loving”
  • between the input element and the opening label tag make a blanks space:
<input> <label>...
