I have the same problem, The instruction says: Make the first radio button and the first checkbox selected by default.
And this is the solution:
<legend>Is your cat an indoor or outdoor cat?</legend> <label><input id="indoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="indoor" checked> Indoor</label>
The message is: Test

Sorry, your code does not pass. Try again.

Hint

The first checkbox is missing the checked attribute.

try to put the checked after the type=“checkbox”

reread the question again, it took me several tries too until i reread the question n the answer was right there, it says checked attribute in the first radio button and first checked box input only…so only those two places is where you are required to add the attribute
