=I DID AS I WAS TOLD AND MADE THE WORD A LINK BUT IS STILL INCORRECT, CHECKED THE WORD AND THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT AND CHECKED THE SPACING STILL NOTHING WRONG. I EMULATED WHAT I DID BEFORE AND WHY WONT IT WORK STILL?

You accidentally added extra p tags. I know it looks like they aren’t there, but they are, so you don’t need to add any extra. Also, spacing is very important for this step. There should be no spaces inside the link text. And you need to keep a space both before and after the dash.

remove your p tag, p tag is already outside the editable part. and also some spacing might makes it error between a tag should have no spaces before after freeCodeCamp.org and before a tag should have space.
