Learn HTML by Building a Cat Photo App - Step 9

Tell us what’s happening:
Describe your issue in detail here.

On lesson 9, it introduces me to having an “alt” attribute inside of the “img” attribute. I’ve tried multiple different ways to try and incorporate it but none of it seems to work out. Take a look at my code so far and please let me know what exactly I have been doing wrong. Thank you! :slight_smile:

  **Your code so far**
<html>
<body>
  <h1>CatPhotoApp</h1>
  <main>
    <h2>Cat Photos</h2>
    <!-- TODO: Add link to cat photos -->
    <p>Click here to view more cat photos.</p>
    <img src="https://cdn.freecodecamp.org/curriculum/cat-photo-app/relaxing-cat.jpg" alt="A cute orange cat laying on its back">
  </main>
</body>
</html>

Welcome to the forum!
You’ve actually done a great job adding the alt tag exactly as requested. Just one minor typo in the word “lying” which you spelled “laying”.
I believe the step will pass once you fix this.
