Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:

My code was able to pass, but for me it doesn’t look right compared to what the question is asking me. It wants me to set the method attribute and send the form via POST request. After a few unsuccessful attempts, i ended up using this code <form method=“post” and that is what allowed me to pass. Is it correct? I’m only asking because the system has allowed me to pass with malformed code before.

yes your code is correct, you should not have deleted action attribute though

huh, that’s weird. I was getting an error previously when I left it in, which is why I removed it completely. I just reset the test and did it how I did the 1st time and it went through. not sure what that was about. But it worked.
