yeah, i have been searching for help on the forum… have tried to solve this several different ways from advice on here. am i missing something? or am i just like way off at this point?

they really just wanted a plain input element without any attributes.
So remove all the ids and hopefully that will fix it.

i tried that earlier actually and it kept telling me to put a space after the semi colon and i did

after you erase the ids, if you still have a problem, it could be because of your browser extensions.
(you can try in incognito mode or disable your extensions)
