I’ve looked around on similar posts and I’ve implemented it in as many ways as I could find and think of that doesn’t look like how it is does now. I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong.

You should add the first input after the label text Enter Your First Name:, and include a space after the colon.

for the input tag no need to add id, only after the label text add self closing input tag and don’t forget to include a space after the colon.
