Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 18

Tell us what’s happening:

Hello!
Completely stuck here :frowning:

Says my first label element should have a for attribute with a value of first-name. (And i’m guessing its the same for the rest of the labels).

I have tried different ways of adding the for and id attributes but just can’t find my way around it.

You’ve added the for attribute to the input element, not the label. You link together label and input elements by adding a for attribute to the label which matches the id attribute of the input.

Hi @NataliaZB

You placed each for attribute in the input element.
Cut and paste them into the label element.

Happy coding
