Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!

I am learning the HTML form fill section, and i have reach step 22, where it says Add custom validation to the password input element, by adding a minlength attribute with a value of 8 . Doing so prevents inputs of less than 8 characters being submitted…And i have added the required Code, within the password input as requested, but the code doesnt go through…Did i not write the code in its right place??If not could i corrected

Create a New Password: <input id=“new-password” type=“password” required minlength:‘‘8’’/>

you should have use double quotes this is your code

You need equal = sign after min length property, instead of semicolon :

Hello @rwabugiri01 !

A small error that we all make at times.

There should be a = assignment instead of the : colon.

Doing good on your coding pathway.
