Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 38

Describe your issue in detail here.

Your code so far
Am I adding the coding for the dimensions correctly? The rows and columns keep coming visually in the bio area and not passing. Something is not right obviously. I have restarted the step and kept playing around with the code, but nothing seems to be working.

You’re very close. I took your code , copy and pasted it and passed. The difference is where you’ve placed it. When you’re giving properties like this to an element, you need to do it within the opening code brackets. You can put as many in as you want / need. In your case, you’re looking for cols / row but the below example still applies:
<p id="1" class="two" property="value">text</p>

Hope this helps!

thank you, thank you, thank you

this was a life saver!

Okay, so now I’m confused, after the code passed on step 39, it switched the code back to how I was trying to enter it to how I originally was trying to enter it? that is very strange. :grimacing: :unamused:

I think that might be an issue with the VM memory / cache / cookies. I just checked and went to the next step and the code I see is correct:
<textarea id="bio" rows="3" cols="30"></textarea>
