Learn HTML Forms by Building a Registration Form - Step 60

Im confused on what happened here. I put in the 1em on both top and bottom, and its saying i should’nt have edited the width, when i didnt touch the width at all.

Sorry, your code does not pass. Keep trying.

You should not change the width property. Use the min-width property.

Can you post the link to the challenge

So you are not using the min-width property to set for 300px
" you want to separate it from the fieldset above, and adjust its width to never be below 300px ."

Also you should be using the original margin property, and use the short hand to add the values for top, right, bottom, left. Not add the properties individually

input[type=“submit”] {
display: block;
min-width: 300px;
margin-top: 1em;
margin-bottom: 1em;
height: 2em;
font-size: 1.1rem;
background-color: #3b3b4f;
border-color: white;

this is what i updated it to and it still isnt working

You still added individual margin properties. The only that should change is the margin that the challenge started you out with. Look at the article I posted, you need t use the shorthand property, and not have margin-right, margin-left, etc properties individually
